Everyday I am inspired by the strength and resiliency of the human spirit to carry on, to move forward, to connect, to evolve, to heal.
I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counselling and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (RCC #14007). I approach my work as a counsellor from a place of both humility and honour as I am given the opportunity to meet clients where they are at, often times when they are at their most vulnerable, and to be a part of their process of learning, growth, and healing. I have worked in the non-profit sector for various organizations helping those struggling with anxiety from children to adults increase there emotional well-being and decrease their anxiety and stress. In my clinical work I have experience working with children, youth, adults couples and families. I am also a dedicated yoga instructor and have been for the past 15 years. Personally I have practiced and studied Eastern based practices such as yoga, meditation and mindfulness for over 20 years. Both yoga and mindfulness based practices weave themselves beautifully into every aspect of my life and my work as a mother, partner, mentor, teacher, and counsellor. I have over 10 years of experience facilitating workshops that delve deeper into these practices and that help individuals begin to integrate these practices into their everyday lives.
